ISBA10 “New Horizons in Biomolecular Archaeology”
13-16 September 2023
in Tartu, Estonia
The cGEM project is proud to be part of the orginazation of the 10th Meeting of the ISBA (The International Society for Biomolecular Archaeology). We have a spectacular opportunity to host a truly international event!
With the 10th Meeting of the ISBA entitled “New Horizons in Biomolecular Archaeology”, we look forward to offering you an engaging and inspiring conference to exchange experiences and novel ideas. After three years of virtual-only meetings caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, ISBA10 marks a return to an in-person conference. Thus, to provide a productive and engaging environment for scientific exchange and collaboration and guarantee the best possible experience and synergy we invite you to Tartu, the City of Good Thoughts.
Our inspiring scientific programme will provide insights into methodological and technological innovations of recent biomolecular archaeological research, which can enable us to tackle novel and crucial questions about our history and that of our environment. Additionally, we aim to bring our fields closer to true transdisciplinary research by encouraging the submission of more theoretically oriented contributions. Finally, as another of our goals for ISBA10 is to promote early career scientists, we will select our keynote speakers from their ranks, as they represent one of the main driving forces of New Horizons in Biomolecular Archaeology.
ISBA10 will take place at the Estonian National Museum allowing you to learn more about the history of our country from the conference location itself in a modern atmosphere. You will also have opportunities to explore new geographical locations – from city lights to dark wilderness, and discover the digital Nation of Estonia.
