Geneforum 2023

24-25 August

in Tartu, Estonia and via Zoom

Join an international high-level scientific conference on genetics and genomics.

From 24th to 25th August 2023, the 22nd Gene Forum will take place, which will bring together 20 prominent scientists from Europe and the USA to discuss advances in the field of genetics. We are welcoming you once again to a location bursting with Estonian culture and history, the Estonian National Museum (Muuseum tee 2, Tartu), to be part of 2 days of exceptional presentations and a possibility to connect with top experts in your field. The conference includes an exhibition area for companies and all young researchers (and also already experienced) are invited to present their posters.

As last year, the conference can also be followed virtually via Zoom, but we strongly urge you to join us at ERM, Tartu, Estonia.

Topics of this years event include:

  • Genomics of monogenic disorders
  • Pharmacogenomics
  • Personalized medicine
  • Microbiome
  • Single cell omics
  • Mental health
  • Population genomics

We are very pleased to say that the keynote speaker at this year’s Gene Forum is the highly distinguished Professor Virginijus Šikšnys (University of Vilnius, Lithuania), whose research has made a major contribution to the development of CRISPR technology.

You can find more information about our speakers and the exact conference program on our website.
